Daksh Rana
The Dangerous Monopoly on Hollywood
Daksh Rana is a sophomore and is extremely excited to share his thoughts in the TEDx 2022 event. Having a passion for sharing and perfecting ideas, he believes the TEDx event is the perfect place for new faces to share their new ideas on helping future generations thrive. In his free time, Daksh plays card games with his peers, Olympic archery, and creative writing.


Sudiksha Vaidyanathan
Yes, the color you wear to an interview could guarantee your job
Sudiksha Vaidyanathan is a junior at Dublin High School, and is honored to be a part of the TEDx 2022 event. Having a passion for community service, she firmly believes that solving societal problems in the long run often begins with simply starting a conversation within a community— which she aims to do in her TEDx talk. Sudiksha serves as the VP of Marketing for the Dublin DECA chapter, and likes to draw, bake, and read in her free time.
Tanish Baranwal
Deciphering the Details of Data: The Currency of the Decade
Tanish is a senior at Dublin High School, and part of the DHS Engineering Academy. Through 5 years of Deep Learning experience, he has published 3 papers in peer reviewed journals and 5 pending patents. Through these experiences, he has found my passion in the field of Deep Learning and CS. Tanish is a self motivated and determined individual who values balance in life, is a fitness fanatic, and is dedicated to improving his mental and physical condition.


Sajidah Hamidi
Authentic Dialogue
Sajidah Hamidi is a junior in DHS and programs such as the Biomed program and the Language Hub. Her goal is to achieve a balance in life, and her motto is that determination defines your future. Some accomplishments include having a higher than 4.0 GPA and winning best final speech in freshmen year. She enjoys spending time with her family, painting, and biking. A fun fact about her is that she knows about 5 languages and is learning a new one!
Sahand Abidnia
Beating the System and Succeeding in High School
Sahand Adibnia is a senior who is passionate about chemistry, scientific research, and also enjoys teaching others. He was inspired to speak about the adverse mindset that students and teachers alike bring to education after observing the impact of a year of online schooling on his peers’ motivation to learn. Sahand hopes to utilize TEDx’s platform to show others how simply changing your mindset can significantly improve one’s success and satisfaction with school.


Sylvia Khouri
Deconstructing the Gender Binary in Clothing
TEDx and fashion have always been sources of inspiration for Sylvia Khouri, and she is so honored to be able to share her passion with Dublin High School! Sylvia is currently a senior and is an active member in the music program, serving as the President of the band leadership. Outside of school, she plays trumpet in the SFJAZZ Big band and the California Youth Symphony. Her interests include writing, art, music, and of course fashion!
Rohan Dudhoria
The Harsh Realities of Financial Illiteracy
Rohan Dudhoria is a Junior at Dublin High School. He is currently the Class of 2023’s Secretary and will be ASB Vice President for the 2022-2023 school year. He is also Co-Founder of the Dublin Financial Literacy Initiative and is currently giving presentations on financial literacy to middle schools across the Bay Area. Rohan is also interested in economics and his dream is to study at UCLA as an economics major!


Katie Cheng
Civic Engagement: Why Silence is the Loudest Statement
Katie Cheng is a junior who is a strong believer in the impact of student voices in policymaking! Moving into her 3rd year serving as Student Board Member on the DUSD School Board, she is active in making all students heard and represented. On the state level, she is the rising President of the California Student Board Member Association and was nominated by Governor Newsom as a candidate to serve on the State Board of Education. Katie is honored to share her call to action through TEDx!
